Hi,
I'm a 22 year old student renting a bungalow in a backyard in Blackburn South. I'm heading home to Tasmania over summer and wondering if someone would like to live in my place while I'm gone? I pay $140/week, so might be looking at that as rent, but open to negotiation. I've talked it over with the landlords, and they're happy for someone else to be in the room. I'm looking for a female only, any age, no couples! There is only 1 single bed in the room.
Also, probably a minimum of a few months. I wouldn't bother making it available for like 1 month only. Flights to/from Tassie are fairly cheap, so I can fly back/forth depending on when someone would be interested in moving in/out. I leave on the 25th November and will be back for uni in late feb or early march 2010 (yet TBC).
I have a lot of stuff, but I'm very clean and it would be a good chance for me to clean out a lot of junk to make a bit of space (i.e. old clothes, uni papers, etc.). I would need to leave a lot of my stuff in the room, so would need someone very considerate and trustworthy. What stuff I make available would be open to negotiation, based on need, etc. I have a car that I won't be using, but I'm undecided as to whether or not I'll make that available. I also have membership to a Genesis gym 5 min walk down the road, which I was going to suspend while gone, but that may be available for someone to use if interested (at ~$33/fortnight).
The only thing the room lacks is a washing machine. I use the landlords', but there is a coin laundry nearby which may be more suitable/preferred by some.
I was wondering if there's anyone out there who may be suitable...
* As I mentioned, must be considerate, responsible, and trustworthy. Not only for my stuff, but for the landlords who's backyard you would live in, plus their puppies. You would have your privacy though.
* Must love dogs, as there are 2 gorgeous dogs that live in the backyard and love to greet you when you open the gate.
* Fairly quiet (basically just not a party animal who would bring friends back at all hours).
* Preferrably working or out during the day, as I'm conscious of the fact the family might not feel able to use the backyard as much during summer if there is someone out there all the time. But probably depends on the person.
