One room in Clifton Hill sharehouse $565 per calendar month ($130 per week) available immediately for two and half months only.
We have friends coming from overseas who are moving in on Jan 16 – so no extensions on this short stay opportunity.
The house: A cute little Victorian era single-storey terrace in Clifton Hill with dual frontage.There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. We have only just moved in and we're beginning to make improvements to the house which is old and a bit run down, we’ve already started on the backyard – vegie patch is in its infancy. The house is very near to Clifton Hill train station but far enough away to not be noisy. There’s a pub, café and fish and chip shop on our street –everything you need in life really!
The room: Decent sized, but the smallest in the house. Not furnished. There are some plaster cracks in the walls.
Us: 1 male (36), 1 female (27) both professionals but that’s a pretty loose term – let’s just say we’re very fun-loving and work to live, not live to work. Love to come home to a beer and a chat out the back. We are both smokers but only outside the house. We’re both travellers by nature and love sharing stories about our adventures. Both like to cook meals at home and share them with anyone who’s there to eat them. We’re not a couple – just good mates.
You: Very relaxed and easy going, late twenties to early thirties, working or travelling (no students please). You must be social and willing to indulge a cheeky beer or two; are not fussy about us being smokers; enjoy meeting new people (as we tend to like having guests over, which you would be welcome to do as well); be willing to share things (if you label your food, you’re not for us); be cleanish around the kitchen but not anal (we don’t care how clean/messy your room is); able to cook a few meals and; able pay rent monthly and on time.
If you are a couple – you can still apply, but we would need to rethink the rent prices etc.
