Wanted: looking for flat/houseshare (preferably furnished) melbourne

hi im a 30yr old guy from the uk. on a working holiday visa, already have a job, just need to find a place to stay as dont fancy staying in a hostel.
looking for a room to rent from mid november for approx 3 months, ideally south of the river, prahran, st kilda etc areas would be ideal as will be working in that area.
wont be driving while in aus, so somewhere with good public transport links is important.
am pretty easy going, relatively quiet to begin with, but more outgoing once i know people.
am travelling alone, so a place with sociable housemates would be good, but not looking to share with people who just like getting trashed every night.
