Fantastic flat in North Carlton!

Small but well appointed second floor 2 bedroom flat, on Rathdowne St near Great Northern Hotel. Flat windows face north and south, in-flat laundry, compact but efficient kitchen, living area with views of city. Bedroom on offer is about 4m x 3m in size, with south facing windows, unfurnished. The exterior walls are double brick, so it's cosy in winter and cool in summer.

I'm a 33 year old DSP engineer (I write software for hearing aids) and distance runner. I commute to work by bike, and am self contained but considerate.

This flat is a new rental - I've just moved out of a 5 bedroom place in the same suburb. I moved out as I wanted more personal space, a decent kitchen, a place that felt like home, and to be able to invite friends over without feeling like I'm cooking in the kitchen of a YHA six days after the weekly clean! The place is awesome and the living area is fantastic.

Please note that the photos date from before the recent sale of the flat (they are sale photos) so the furnishing is now slightly more contemporary (!)

I have a fair bit of general furnishing, including a decent washing machine, good fridge, lovely table, comfy couches, coffee table and basic kitchen hardware. There's an undercover car parking spot that comes with the flat, which is free for your use as I don't own a car.

Ideally, you'll be aged between late 20s and mid 30s, professionally employed, green minded and left wing, perhaps get around by bike, have a social life of your own, be reasonably organised and tidy, and able to cooperate but also able to keep yourself amused doing your own thing.
