Hi, I’m looking to share a house or an apartment.

My priority in life is my daughter Beatrice who is living with her mother in Abbotsford. We are co-parenting and doing our best to give her a loving and stable childhood.

I am seeking a place as close to her as possible that likes children because I would like her to be able to visit at least one day a week and occasionally stay over when she is a little older, (she is nearly three years old). Ideally, I am searching for a place on the ground for safety sake and hopefully with some green space where she could play. I also prepare meals for her 2 nights a week prior to caring for her and would require access to a reasonable kitchen.

Most importantly I am looking to share with someone who genuinely likes children and doesn’t mind all that comes with having a child around. Including: The temporary messes she makes with her toys and crafts. The music we like to sing along with and the occasional upsets and tantrums. Equally, someone who has the patience to engage with her and who would appreciate the joy that she will bring into your world.

I’m 50 years old. I’m a filmmaker. Freelancing while searching for another fulltime position. When on a production I work long hours and may seem to temporarily disappear.

I rarely drink and am what’s known as an outside smoker who is trying to quit. I like watching films, read and write and have a number of projects in development so I generally spend a lot of time working on my computer at night. As I mentioned I like cooking and the therapeutic nature of cleaning.

I imagine the person who would be interested in sharing with me to be another single co-parent who is in a similar situation, that being someone wanting to create a family type of lifestyle for their Child(s).

I am aiming to move mid January.
