Seeking a new housemate for a medium size bedroom in our 5 bedroom TRAVANCORE house. Close to hospitals, Moonee Ponds shops & library.

The room includes a double bed with pillows & sheets. The price is $165 per week for a single person; this includes utilities & fast wireless broadband. The room is at the rear of the large house, so it's cosy and quiet with very little street noise.

The kitchen fully equipped with two fridges, separate laundry with washing machine, shared bathroom & two toilets.

Local & over overseas, short or long term, all welcome. Current housemates are from Australia, New Zealand and France.

Travancore is just 10 minutes to the city on the 59 tram. The house is 10 minutes walk to the tram stop on Mt Alexander (outside Billy Hyde music shop). The 59 tram travels past the Royal Children’s Hospital, RWH, RMH, within one block of University of Melbourne, then past Queen Victoria Market. The 59 tram travels along Elizabeth Street then terminates at Flinders St Station.

  • 15 min walk to Flemington Bridge Station (two stops from North Melbourne Station; 10 minutes to the city)
  • 20 min walk to Royal Children's Hospital
  • 10 min walk to Dan Murphy's wine warehouse
  • Easy access by car to Melbourne Airport & western suburbs
  • Citylink is less than 5 minutes drive
  • To get to Moonee Ponds shops, library, clubs, restaurants talks ride takes 8 minutes on the 59 tram
