The most brilliant TV you will ever come across...
46-inch Sony XBR HD LCD TV. Simply glorious to watch!
This TV pretty much comes with everything you will ever need in a TV. It's big, it's shiny, it can access all the HD TV channels, the remote buttons light up in the dark, it displays black like it's meant to be displayed, it works better than other TVs low and bright light (ie. less reflections issues), in has no pixel issues, and did I mention that it is 46"? It's perfect for watching sports, movies, gaming, home movies - everything!
It has a wall mount, as well as a stand, and the TV itself looks slim and stylish. It has a silver bezel with the floating glass design. And I have to admit I haven't even removed the stickers on it yet! It's very easy to set up and use. Never had any problems with it and the display is still as perfect as the day I bought it... which was only in May 2008.
Better yet it is still under warranty!!!!! Sony gives a one year warranty and I purchased an extended warranty for an additional 48 months!!! I have the original receipts and warranties, and I can confirm it is transferable.
To buy from Sony store you're looking at $4999 (ouch)
Sony KDL46XBR features the 46-inch 1080p panel, and also includes a number of up-to-date imaging features. There is support for the Blu-ray (and HD DVD) 24p standard, and a 100Hz anti-judder mode. But if HD disks aren't your thing then there is an onboard HD tuner so you can receive 1080i content for free. Other features include a USB port for photo viewing, PC connectivity, and three HDMI version 1.3 ports. The image quality and contrast is excellent. For more tech stuff check the Sony site. And by the way, there is hardly any difference between this and the Z series.
I'll be very very sorry to say goodbye to this TV but must sell rather than keep it in storage (sorry, not looking to swap).
