She got her nickname from a big party in the area of the palace of the Prussian king Frederic the great. Full of excitement, and epithetical of Sophie’s feelings, the author talks about the life of the Sophie von Brandt, the lady in waiting from Elisabeth Christine of Prussian, the wife of King Fredric II, the Great, of Prussia. Also, the novel gives information and insights into the politics and history of culture in Prussia in the time of the18th Century and likewise the life of the aristrocratics in Prussian. All historical events, the people and places, are historical facts, only the name of Sophie’s Scottish friend has been changed. In the book are also 21 photos of people, palaces and buildings, from the course of the story. With this book, the author would like to put a remembrance to Sophie von Brandt.
