I am just going to give you the facts and if you can't see that there is a good opportunity for you here, then I wish you well in whatever you do. My name is Tommy Langley. I have just been appointed Channel Manager for a flourishing marketing outfit and am in charge of a new contract that we are more than a little excited about it. It’s a simple product but offers a unique opportunity within a known industry, and has already proved very successful in just a week of the campaign. (For competative reasons I will not disclose the exact nature of the contract here, but its with a rock solid corporate identity with a very favourable reputation) I didn’t want to recruit people to do a role I wouldn’t do myself, so I have been out testing the market as a sales consultant, and have been pretty damn happy with the results. It has not all been smooth sailing, but I have made 15 sales in the last 5 days, and have only been getting out to sell between 1-5pm. In this role 15 sales = $984…..(in 18 hours!......$55P/h) You can work out what a 40hr week can be worth. I am a good sales person, but this is a product I have only had one days training in, have practically no experience in, and I have been working an area I had never been to before. Our first new consultant did 5 sales on his second day. (The smartarse beat me!) I don’t expect these kind of results from new people, but its extremelly encouraging. Here is a close approximation of what you can earn per week: 1 sale a day = $350 Commissions Per Week = $350 2 sales a day = $700 Commissions + $100 Bonus = $800 3 sales a day = $1050 Commissions + $150 Bonus = $1200 4 sales a day = $1400 Commissions + $200 Bonus = $1600 5 sales a day = $1750 Commissions + $250 Bonus = $2000 We pay people a $50 a day (training wheel) retainer for the first week, and then its straight commissions. So if you can do, 1 sale a day in your first week = $600, 2 sales a day = $1300….and so on. I will be doing my best to help you get whatever you think is a realistic target for you, but really we want everyone to be doing at least 2 a day once up to speed. Understand these are just the facts, not overly optimistic projections. It doesn’t mean this role is easy. It is a business to business position, at this stage approaching most businesses cold. So as in most sales roles, to be successful you will need to be hard working, self disciplined, reliable, and willing to cope a fair degree of rejection! Over the next 4-6 weeks I will need to put on 1-3 Field Managers, a Recruiter, a Trainer, 2 Telemarketers and a Telemarketing Manager. These roles will obviously be filled by consultants who have made good sales and have the necessary qualities to perform them. Obviously the earlier you start with us the better chance you have. I have been receiving phone calls for the last few days from applicants and quite frankly, I have not the time to talk to you all individually at this stage, as there is money to be made right now, and I would rather be out there selling, training, and coaching others. I have decided to arrange a series of group interviews, starting Friday 18th July @ 9:00am. There will be time at the end of the interview to speak to you individually. (Details at the bottom of this add) We are willing to take 2-5 new applicants a week, in order to give each new consultant ample support to get started. Please keep in mind this is Business to Business sales, so you will need: -To be able to communicate clearly and with confidence. -To have a good level of professionalism & integrity (but not be too stiff). -Presentable business attire. -And a good sense of humour will always helpJ. A car would also help but is not essential. Experience in sales would help, but is not essential.
