Wanted: Trainer- Employment Services (SE Melbourne) $48k + super

We have been successful in winning large contracts to deliver a range of innovative employment solutions that enable job seekers to meet the needs of local labour markets.

You will be responsible for the delivery of training to a diverse range of job seekers with various barriers to upskill and move them into sustainable employment.

Other responsibilities include:

• Ensure that effective training for participants is provided to support them in securing sustainable employment
• Develop course materials that can be consistently delivered across all states
• Provide follow up support to participants post training
• Recording attendance and progress of participants
• Promote excellent relations with employers, partners and fellow staff and Job Seekers

To be successful you must possess:

• Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment
• Minimum 1 year's experience in the delivery of training programs
• Similar experience in delivery of modular training to people of diverse backgrounds is desirable
• Previous experience in preparing development plans for individuals
• Ability to deliver training consistently within a curriculum
• Experience in delivering training in a blend of methods such as one on one or in a training room
• Ability to customise training in accordance with participants learning styles and backgrounds
• Ability to motivate, mentor and coach participants to reach their potential goals
• Excellent computer and record keeping skills
• Superior organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to handle conflict and work under pressure
• Excellent relationship building skills and are able to communicate effectively across a wide range of people
