       Web Designer/Developer

A Web Designer/Developer is required to assist a small web publishing and design company based in Collingwood.

The position

This is an ongoing casual position and involves the redevelopment of a large website directory for the events and hospitality industries.

Essential criteria

Excellent knowledge of html, xhtml, css, javascripting, mysql, joomla and the latest web technologies.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver,  Photoshop/Fireworks and Flash.

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

The role involves:

Assisting the designer in the front end design of the site

Management of the backend mysql database

Rate

$20 per hour with shifts of four hours available (9am-1pm or 1pm–5pm).
