Based in Clayton, our client are a market leader and now need the services of an experienced despatch / fork lift driver with excellent pc skills.
OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY;
Assisting in the dispatch of, Grating, Industrial Flooring, Civil Products and other products appropriate to the business. Must have a current Forklift Licence
 
GENERAL DUTIES will include; 
·         Correctly dispatching goods required by the customer.
·         Packing/handling of products and raw materials.
·         Completing paperwork for dispatch and receiving goods
·         Maintaining correct stock levels with stock checks and stock takes
·         Operating the company computer system with regards to all dispatch and inventory functions
·         Focus on 5S and the tasks that need to be accomplished.
·         General housekeeping.
·         Other such duties as directed by Leading Hand and Factory Foreman.
  
Safety Obligations to be adhered to at all times,
·         Must wear:       
- Eye protection.
- Hearing protection.        
-Safety boots.
-Overalls or other suitable long-sleeve, cotton-based work-clothes.
-Any other required personal protective equipment, as 
     appropriate to the task being undertaken eg gloves.
 
You will be required to ensure that work area is kept neat and tidy at all times and report any occupational health and safety incident as occurred to management or senior staff
 
This is a permanent, full time position.,
