Key Responsibilities include:
Develop Informatica jobs, based on business requirements and/or designs; • Extract, transform and load data from multiple source data (flat files, databases) into Oracle data warehouse;’ • Development, documentation and execution of unit test plans; • Assist in the data analysis effort necessary to resolve issues related to source data quality issues; • Perform impact analysis prior to undertaking changes, and documentation of new or changed ETL feeds in accordance with metadata standards; • Design Informatica ETL application frameworks and highly re-usable components within the constraints of the infrastructure architecture; • Develop new or maintain existing Informatica mappings and workflows based on specifications; • Maintain Informatica Power Centre Repositories; • Apply Software upgrades and patches as required; • Provide guidance and leadership to a small team of Informatica developers Qualifications / Experience and attributes required: •Experience in Informatica Version 8.1 Qualifications from a recognized University in IT or business related courses. • Strong working knowledge of Oracle; • Experienced in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL; • Must be able manage multiple priorities and work closely with team members; • Proven track record of designing/coding to minimise operational support; • ETL experience developing in commercial environments using Informatica, Oracle, PL/SQL, or any other ETL tools; • Experience in hands-on management of a team of a small team (2 or more ETL developers) • Superior verbal and written communication skills; • Ability to work as part of a team and provide mentoring and leadership; • Demonstrated interpersonal and time management skills; • Demonstrated written documentation skills; • Possess excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal with clients and effectively deliver services within a timely manner |
