After a hugely successful 2008 SIPart Event, Theatre Works and Liquid Skin continue their commitment to providing new development and presentation opportunities to independent movement artists.
 
SIPart Event # 1 was first presented by Liquid Skin and proudly supported by Theatre Works in November 2008. As a result of this one night event, Rob McCredie was the recipient of the first ever SIPart Sponsorship to the tune of $1000 for the continued development of his craft.
In 2009, this one off event has become part of a one week Moving Works showcase, including the presentation of two sponsorship awards:
  1. PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD: A cash prize will be provided to the chosen piece to be put towards further development of the work. [Chosen by the audience]
 
  1. CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT AWARD: Theatre Works will provide the most outstanding ensemble with a weeklong creative development opportunity in the venue in October 2009 and the opportunity to apply for the ongoing inclusion in the Theatre Works In the Works and Selected Works programs.
