Date Listed: 07/08/2008 It would be slanderous for me to name and shame the removalist whose pathetic and despicable business practices cost me months of stress and $$$$, for failing to arrive to pick up my goods and then arguing with me about not showing up and blaming me for the failing and then expecting me to pay $150 credit card down payment as a way to secure his arrival. I even took the case to VCAT where the [BEEP] magistrate insulted me and blamed me for it all. I lost my case in the VCAT hearing - and it took them more than 6 months to list it. I had my goods moved by another removalist as I didn't trust the unreliable sod who failed to show up the first time. The reliable and responsible removalist showed up as agreed (even earlier actually), and gave me a reduced rate to help me out once they heard who had given me the runaround. You see, they knew him - his disgusting business practices had been the cause of distress for many others before me - and no doubt (with no thanks to VCAT) he will go on doing it to others... UNLESS you can help. Tell me your horror stories - tell me about removalists from the regional area (Ballarat) that have let you down. These stories MUST be verifiable. I have intention of being in contact with each person whose story includes the removalist company details, and who would be willing to have their story told to A Current Affair or even that horrible Today Tonight... It is my intention to NAME AND SHAME this removalist... I can't tell you who it is, however you will hear from me if you name the same removalist in your story and I will be asking you if you are willing to put your story (not necessarily your name) forward with mine to ACA or TT... Those shows don't take notice of one person's story unless it is a real tear jerker/heart breaker etc, unless they receive multiple reports on the same company. Now is your chance to get back and have your say - I want to bring this man down and take his business away from him as a nice little Christmas present to him - to say "thanks" for screwing up my Christmas last year.
