hello!
I live in Lilydale. I've been posting lots of ads lately looking for musicians and singers. I haven't forgotten any of you who replied to those, don't worry. I want to incorporate you into this. I'm looking for musicians living near the Lilydale area. All musicians. Answer this ad if you're interested. This is going to be a pretty major project, if it ever gets off the ground. Ideally, I would like to have some kind of Brian Wilson-esque miniature orchestra. All sorts of strings, all sorts of horns, all sorts of woodwinds, piano, organ, bass, guitars, banjo, mandolin, slide guitars, triangles, jew harps... If there's an intrument you're passionate about playing, or two or three, reply to this. Suggest things to me; impress me. Absolutely anything goes. Jazz, rock, classical musicians, you're very very very welcome. I want to get a carefully and complexly arranged set together and take it around to venues such as Ruby's. I know it'd be very hard to get the players together, but if we can, you could be involved in something great and innovative in local music.
