I am a 53-year-old trumpet player who formed a traditional jazz (trad jazz - Dixieland jazz) rehearsal group. We are enthusiastic and supportive. Some are very good, some are just past the basics, I just started playing in 2003. We have trumpet (2), trombone (2), sax (2), clarinet, banjo, guitar, tuba, drums, and piano. We also have a back-up piano player, who sits in occasionally.  We rehearse Wednesday nights 6:30 – 8:30 in Richmond. Our goal is to have fun and get better, rather than to gig.  It would be great to add a 2nd clarinet player and a back-up drummer.  If you think that it would be fun to rehearse with us, can participate most Wednesday nights, are enthusiastic and supportive, please reply!
