Rhythm/Lead Wanted for Established Pearl Jam Tribute

Hi everyone,

My name is James and I am from an established Pearl Jam tribute band called rearviewmirror. We established ourselves about 5 months ago, and have been rehearsing since to get to gig level, and our last gig at the Casablanca Tavern in Mitcham reflected this.

Our rhythm guitar player, recently announced that he would be moving to Sydney for work related matters, thus we are looking for a new talented rhythm/lead player to fill his boots.

rearviewmirror, is a band of absolute Pearl Jam fans/nuts whatever you want to call it. So as a criteria of applying you must have an interest in Pearl Jam past the albums Ten and Vs. =D. You must have great sense of timing and groove as Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam has, plus some lead playing ability as any Pearl Jam fan would know Stone plays a lot of lead parts in some of the songs.

Essentially, we would like someone who knows quite a few Pearl Jam essentials so they can just slip right in with minimal work or effort. But a quick learner is also appreciated.

In terms of personality we are just looking for someone who's laid back, easy going and doesn't have a rockstar complex. We are also looking for someone who is commited for the long term and is flexible with gig/rehearsal times. We generally rehearse nights during the week. And as always transport is a MUST.
