We require a highly skilled Stage Manager to work on our current Production which is being performed at the Cromwell Street Theatre in March 2009.

We are an Independant Professional Theatre Company - 'MACHINATION THEATRE ENSEMBLE'.
We have been producing work for the last 4 years around Melbourne. Most of our works have been selected to be performed as part of the VCE Drama Studies playlist - which means that our seasons which are for two weeks / two shows a day are always at full house capacity - Thus Payment is good for us all in the end!!!

We have again submitted this current piece for the Drama Playlist next year and are awaiting response which will be in a month or so.

Our work is predominately visual/physical theatre and rely a lot on the technical elements FX/LX as well as Props/Costume/Set.

As the Stage Manager you will be required to most of the rehearsals which at this stage are Wednesday evenings 5.30pm onwards in Richmond Area. Some weekends are also to be scheduled.
As well as Bump In / Production Week / Shows and Bump Out.

You will also have an ASM as well as Myself (Production Manager) to assist you.
The company members are a lovely team and will also help out wherever possible.
