Date Listed: 13/07/2008 I have been in the music industry for 20 years and have worked in all genres of music as a lead vocalist. I have a very unique alto voice with a broad 2 and a half octave range that allows me to not only handle female material but put my own stamp on male songs.as well. I am looking to join a working cover band or band who has gigs lined up , who displays versatility and passion for music. I can sing all genres from jazz, blues , soul, motown, funk to rock and pop. People have said that my voice sounds like Billy Holiday, Esther Philips, Norah Jones and others. My influences have been Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald , Whitney Houston , Renee Geyer, Eva Cassidy and many others, but most of all the one and only Elvis Presley. If you have me as your lead vocalist you will not only get someone with an unique voice but also someone who has charisma on stage and knows how to work a crowd.
