hide scorched like gauze.
A path no longer blazed
yet bridges behind still burn
 
A clearing,
a thousand eyes turn to stare
memories fade
faces no longer there
 
Slowely but surefooted,
grown older in his decline
the dinosaur steps out of the forest
onto the edge of time..
