Yes, that's right, I've broken that most sacred of social taboos, I have farted, intentionally, and in anger.  And it was great.  Now before you go leaping to conclusions, this is not something I do regularly, nor do I take such extreme actions lightly.  However in certain instances I feel I am left no choice but to retaliate against outright rudeness in a manner that is both stealthy and satisfying.  I am a tall man.  I travel regularly.  And every now and then, I get someone in front of me who insists on aggressively forcing their chair back, despite the annoying presence of my legs, thereby relegating me to 12 hours of agonizing leg cramps and the risk of deep vein thrombosis.  The answer - a malicious fart.  Remarkably effective in confined spaces.
