We sit next to an oak tree,
With you in my arms in front of me,
On a hillside overlooking a sunset,
Wafting rain clouds bellow behind us.
She moves closer,
I take in the moment,
Your long angel hair,
Your tall slender body,
The way you smell,
The way you speak,
Everything about you draws me,
Everything you do is a master stroke,
My heart is your canvas.
I’ve lived only for this one moment,
All my life, everything I did,
My heart remained dormant.
Here and now.
My spirit sings.
I smile and close my eyes,
My life ends, my spirit dies,
The ringing breaks everything.
Time to wake up,
Can’t be late.
