Welcome to Widows & Widowers Support Group Melbourne

Since the sudden death of my husband in 2008 the website wwsgmelbourne.info has been developed for the benefit of widows and widowers of all ages in the hope we can help each other through this extremely difficult time.

The Forum is intended as a place where people can express their emotions and their stories in a non-judgemental environment, and a place to develop a network of friendships.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 25th November 2009, and then every fourth Wednesday of the month at Glenn Frost Room, Croydon Library, Civic Square, Croydon. Vic (Map 50K4). Time: 7.00pm to 8.30pm. We also meet from time to time on other days at various locations for coffee. These details are advertised on the websites "Notice Board" as they are planned. Please come along and join us for coffee and a friendly chat.

This is not an organized support group and has no trained grief or crisis counsellors. If you are in need of grief or crisis counselling, you should contact a qualified professional.
