The New Hope Footscray Refugee Resource Centre is currently looking for a volunteer sewing tutor who will be able to run a class with up to 6 refugee women alongside another volunteer every Wednesdays from 1-4pm.
 
The volunteer is to assist refugee women with their sewing skills. This would include basic sewing instructions, use of sewing machines and garment constructions. The aim of this program is to also give refugee women a place to come together for support and to share ideas.
 
We will require a volunteer who is flexible and able to commit to an ongoing program.
