8 WEEK DRAWING COURSE – Starting Wednesday October 14th!
With Jocelyn Seccombe

Wednesdays 14th October – 2 December 2009
7-9pm 8 week course

This course is designed for the complete beginner or for those with little experience. You will do interesting exercises throughout the course that aim to break through habitual ways of looking and help you 'change gear' and start seeing in a way that enables you to draw more accurately. Life drawing will be covered, though this course is designed to give you a broader scope of approaching drawing to enable you to explore diferent styles and techniques.

Jocelyn brings a wealth of drawing experience from her textile background. She studied Fine Art and Music at Canterbury University in New Zealand, followed by Textile Design in Wellington. Along side her professional artistic career she has taught art, design and music in schools and at tertiary level. She has exhibited in NZ, UK, USA and Europe and won many awards throughout her career.
