"Genetic decoding in progress, one moment please…" ASMR Medical Research Week® presents "Science in the Cinema" featuring GATTACA. A decade has transpired since the release of the movie and genetic choice has become a reality. Will we choose the colour of our children's eyes? Can we eliminate diseases coded in our genes? Will these advances make discrimination into a science ? Join us on Tuesday 3rd June 2008, at 6:30pm, Storey Hall, RMIT building 16, 342 Swanston St, Melbourne. The event includes a panel of science experts in the field of  stem cells, cancer, genetic disease and much more. See the movie, share your views and opinions in the debate with the flamboyant Dr Andi of RRR s Einstein A Go Go program as moderator for the evening.
