I am looking for house sitting opportunities within Victoria, preferably not too far out from melbourne inner suburbs and surrounds, only due to work commuting issues, but will consider on case by case basis.
My details: thirty four year old female, mature, responsible, clean, and respectful of other people's property. Water, energy, and environmentally conscious, like to ride my bike as preferred transport, love animals and gardens. I am employed working several days at work and some days from home, am studying a Masters degree by Research part-time, and am a sometimes artist. Currently living in Brunswick.

I have house-sat previously and can offer the names of occupants who will happily give feedback to my suitability for your home. I can also provide a professional reference if a character check is required and have share housed for a number of years in Melbourne so have further referees to call on regarding my living style. Regarding safety I also have had a police check and hold a working with children card.

I am looking to house-sit to have new experiences without going 'away' on holiday, to explore areas of Melbourne I might not otherwise find the chance to, and to see if house sitting could be viable as a long term option - or better as a short break away from home option. I am open to long and/or short term house-sit arrangements, for the reasons listed above, and would be interested in establishing ongoing relationships with occupants if there is a need and the fit is right for both of us.

I am able to and would like to tend to gardens, light weeding, watering etc. Can feed and walk and keep company animals (and have lived with both gardens and pets my whole life - except right now). I am also happy to do light cleaning, basic food shopping, leave a cooked meal,etc. for the occupants return if this is required (and of course wouldn't interfere with any of that if preferred).
